The Portland Trail Blazers have lost their starting power forward, Al-Farouq Aminu, to the Orlando Magic. The Blazers probably would not have had the money to sign Aminu as they are one of the most cash strapped teams in all of the league.
Aminu ended up signing with the Magic for three years and $29M.
This probably thrusts Zach Collins more than likely into the starting power forward role for the Blazers going forward.
Aminu played in 293 games for the Blazers over the last four years. Averaging 9.5 points and 7.1 rebounds per game for the Blazers.
We wish Chief the best of luck in Orlando.
