The Portland Trail Blazers are going to up their 2019-20 (their 50th in the NBA) by hosting the Denver Nuggets on Wednesday, October 23rd. This is one of the few times that you are going to be able to see the Blazers in Portland to start the season. They open with thirteen of their first eighteen games on the road. The Clippers will come to Portland on April 15th to close out the season.
The Blazers also have a couple of long road trips at the end of the season that might be troubling.
When will some former Blazers make their returns to Portland?
Evan Turner and the Atlanta Hawks come to Moda on December 10th.
The Magic and Al-Faroq Aminu comes to town on December 20th.
Jake Layman makes his triumphant return the next night.
Seth Curry and the Dallas Mavericks make their first trip to Portland on January 23rd.
Meyers Leonard will be back in town on February 9th.
February 25th the Celtics and Enes Kanter return.
The Blazers will be on national television 20 times this season. The Lakers are going to be on 31 times, which is a lot lower than I predicted. The Warriors have 30, Clippers and Rockets come in at 26.
Somehow the Pelicans have as many national television games as Blazers.
Stay tuned as we’ll have a further breakdown of the schedule later this week.
