During the Blazers’ double-overtime game against the Brooklyn Nets, the Blazers’ center went up for a rebound and came down awkwardly in the middle of a bunch of other players. His leg seemed to buckle in an unnatural way and he immediately went to the ground, grasping at his left leg. Brooklyn players immediately ran to their bench after seeing the injury.
Nurkic was placed in an air cast and taken off the court with a towel over his head.
I will not get into what happened or pretend that I know the severity of the injury, but I don’t think we’ll see the big Bosnian until next season. We’ll provide more news as we get it.
